Initial Physiotherapy Session

This is the first session with your horse, meaning the session is longer (approx 1 hour 30 mins). This includes a discussion of the patients history and talking about future goals and expectations. Once everything has been discussed, static, dynamic, range of motion and palpation assessments are performed. After assessment, treatment will be provided to target any areas of weakness found during assessment. To conclude the session, there will be a brief discussion  to go over the treatment provided and future steps to be taken to reach goals and expectations. After your session you can choose to have a 6-week plan made for you and your horse to help you reach your goals. Please see below more information about this service.

Regular Physiotherapy Session

This is a follow up session which lasts for approximately 1 hour. The session runs similar to the first initial assessment, where a brief discussion will take place to see how you and your horse have been since the last treatment , followed by physiotherapy assessments to see if there are any changes or new areas of weakness. Treatment will be provided based on the assessment findings. After the session Hannah will have a quick discussion on the treatment provided, and give some advice on the next steps that need to be taken, to help reach your goals.
